21. Being a foreigner without Polish citizenship

And i think one of most important information for foreigners living in Poland.

Until some time ago, the only way to obtain a loan by a foreigner was to have Polish citizenship. Now, many changes have been introduced, thanks to which also customers from outside Poland can effectively apply for a cash loan at one of the Polish banks. Here are the most important requirements set by banks for foreigners applying for a loan:

• possession of a permanent residence card and a visa,
• having a permanent, legal source of income,
• having a registered address in the territory of the Republic of Poland,
• having a valid passport,
• having a bank account in a Polish bank,
• having a PESEL number,
• having a positive credit history.
